Metropolitan Saba Ispir
Hierarch & Spiritual Father
Our father in Christ and source of accountability to the Church is His Eminence the most reverend Saba, Archbishop of New York and Metropolitan of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.
In addition to St. Anthony's, Metropolitan Sava oversees the over 150 Antiochian Orthodox parishes in North America.
Father Nicholas Fine
Parish Priest
Father Nicholas has served as the pastor of our community since June 2023. Originally from Portland Oregon, Fr Nicholas converted to the Orthodox Faith as an adult and is a graduate of St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary.
Fr Nicholas is married to Presbytera Liana, with which he has two children and is passionate about sharing the transformative power of a life in Christ. As an accomplished vocal musician, Fr Nicholas has sung with several professional vocal ensembles, including Cappella Romana, and teaches liturgical music at his alma mater, St Vladimir’s.
He loves to engage with people from all walks of life and is always available to meet with those interested in the Orthodox Church and in need of spiritual counsel.
Archdeacon Peter Buloukos
Deacon
Deacon Peter has served as a pillar of our community for over 50 years. A member of the parish since 1972, he was ordained to the diaconate in 1988 and has been with us ever since.
Deacon Peter was born and raised in Merrick, New York, attended Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, in Brookline, MA and later studied at Rizzarios Divinity School in Athens, Greece. When he returned to the United States, Deacon Peter served as a youth advisor and Greek School teacher in Detroit, Minneapolis, and New Rochelle.
When he’s not helping out in just about all aspects of parish life, Deacon Peter works as a chiropractor.
